Time and again, alumnae tell us that Onaway is always a part of their lives. Decisions they make, values they live by, habits they’ve formed, and friendships they cherish are rooted in their time at camp. Time may go by, but we can always return to camp, reconnect, renew old friendships and make new ones with women who share our appreciation for camp and all it means to us.

Snail Mail
While we still value written communication, we also send occasional emails, saving time, paper/trees, and money, and we can include photos! If we do not have your email address, you may be missing some interesting news or event information. So please send us your current email address.
Onaway has a private LinkedIn page used for networking. Help us get strengthen these networks by joining the group.
Instagram is a fun place for us to share updates about camp. And keep our friends who are not on Facebook updated on camp activities. We love it when you like and share these posts, helping us bring more alumnae and potential campers into our circle.

Alumnae Reunions
Onaway hosts official reunions at camp, the weekend after camp is out every couple of years. These are well-organized long weekends full of classic Onaway favorites - waterfront activities, skits, singing, Washington hotbread, circle at the rock, etc. Check email and social media for when the next one is coming your way!
Summer Work Weekends
In early summer, alumnae, campers and their families, and staff gather together at camp for a work weekend and a time for some Onaway fun! The goal is to prepare camp for the counselors - and to reconnect with the Onaway community and with camp herself!
Alumnae Gatherings
We typically have Open House Gatherings and Alumnae Gatherings & Events across the country. Let us know if you would like to host one: An Alumnae Gathering can be hosted at your home or at a restaurant, pub, park or community event, for alumnae only, or for alumnae and families.
Open Houses
All current and prospective campers, families, alumnae, and friends who are curious to learn more about camp, are encouraged to attend an Onaway Open House. If you live near, or happen to be visiting, one of these gatherings, please join us to meet or reconnect with Onaway staff, campers, alumnae and families.
